Frequently asked questions.
How is an agent's available credit calculated?
Available credit is the credit limit plus the deposit, minus the amount owed. TransferArc checks it when a booking is confirmed and checks it again when an amendment raises the price. A limit is raised only through maker-checker approval, and only once the agent's KYC documents are complete.
Can travel agents have sub-agents?
Yes. An agent account can have one level of sub-agents, plus members and tiers. Rate cards hold net prices and markup applies by agent tier, so net and selling prices are kept separately.
How do corporate accounts work in TransferArc?
Corporate clients get cost centres, dedicated contract rate cards and one consolidated invoice per month. Employee bookings can go through an approval workflow, and account statements and receivables ageing are always current.
How do agents and clients book and pay?
Agents and clients book, track and pay in the Agent/Client app, where agents also see their prices, credit and ledger. Customers can also book and pay online by themselves. Payment can be on credit, prepaid by bank transfer, card or cash, or cash to the driver. Integrators connect through the public REST API.
